Could you tell us about your background and role as CAIO at ILI.DIGITAL?
I come from a mixed background in computer science and quantitative economics, which has given me a unique perspective on technology’s role in solving business challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve held strategic and technical roles across consulting companies, startups, telecommunications, and the automotive sector. In addition to industry experience, I’ve stayed connected to academia through research in machine learning and economics, as well as lecturing and presenting at conferences.
At ILI.DIGITAL, my journey began with establishing our core technology capabilities. Over the past few years, I’ve been focused on building and leading the data and AI department. This involves fostering technical expertise, structuring teams, and refining processes.
Our team manages the entire lifecycle of AI project development, from conceptual and problem-solving approaches to engineering, deployment, and scaling. This comprehensive approach allows us to deliver tailored enterprise AI solutions that align with our clients’ strategic goals.
You recently attended MIT’s AI Executive Academy. What insights did you gain from interacting with other leading professionals?
The AI Executive Academy was a truly enriching experience. The program balanced technical and business-oriented lectures, led by renowned thought leaders. Despite the intensive nature of the program, the engaging content made the time fly by. One of the most valuable aspects was networking with other tech and business leaders, sharing perspectives, and discussing the challenges they face in implementing AI solutions.
The program reinforced the importance of aligning AI implementation with an overarching business strategy—a principle we prioritize at ILI.DIGITAL. It also highlighted the need for collaboration between technical and business teams to drive successful outcomes. These insights validated our approach to building enterprise AI solutions that are both innovative and practical.
What were your key takeaways regarding ILI.DIGITAL’s AI development and in-house expertise?
Attending the Academy course at MIT reaffirmed that our work at ILI.DIGITAL is on par with global benchmarks and several topics discussed in the lectures. Many of the cutting-edge technologies discussed—such as agentic systems, advanced retrieval systems (RAG), and automated unstructured data pipelines—are already integrated into our projects.
