Key Features
Proximity and Access
ILI Digital experts worked either onsite in Germany or remotely in a hybrid mode, ensuring smooth communication and agile development.
Specialist Integration
We deployed software engineers, product managers, UI/UX designers, and data experts as a cohesive extension of the internal team.
Agile Workflows
Utilizing agile sprints and iterative feedback loops to continuously align outputs with project goals.
This seamless collaboration model allowed the client to rapidly scale their capabilities without disrupting existing workflows.
Core Features
This Urban Air Mobility Provider is paving the way for a future in sustainable, reliable and efficient smart city aviation with this innovative and extremely safe approach to modern passenger transport.
Not only are the completely electric, the aim is to also become completely autonomous by no longer needing a pilot to transport the drones to their designated landing spots.
We’re supporting them to ensure they reach their goals and are able to successfully go live in time. On top of this we have built them a dedicated team to allow them to be completely autonomous.
Flight Planning software
A software with the technology and knowledge to build clear and reliable air routes for the aircraft to safely take.
Aircraft Analytics Tool
A tool used to collect accurate and maintainable data from the aircraft.
Booking App
Our team are highly skilled within mobile development and app management services, so we have helped to develop an app for users to book their flights and receive their tickets.
Commercial Manager
Used to maintain all flights and timings to ensure all flights run smoothly, safely, and punctually.

The Aerospace Industry
Insights on the Future of Air Mobility
Urban Air Mobility is rapidly redefining how people and goods will move within metropolitan areas. Throughout this project, several forward-thinking trends and challenges emerged:
Intermodality is Key
The integration of air taxis with ground-based transport services opens the door to true end-to-end mobility experiences for urban dwellers.
Vertiport Infrastructure
From rooftops of parking decks to modular, mobile take-off platforms—creative use of space is crucial in dense city environments.
Sustainability at the Core
eVTOL aircraft significantly reduce both noise and emissions, helping cities meet climate targets while offering faster, congestion-free travel.
Frequently Asked Question
What is Air Mobility and why is it important?
Air Mobility refers to the use of advanced aircraft, including drones and electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles (eVTOLs), to transport people and goods in urban and rural environments.
It’s important because it offers a sustainable, fast, and efficient alternative to traditional transportation, helping to reduce traffic congestion, lower carbon emissions, and revolutionize urban mobility.
What is the Air Mobility Project in Germany?
The Air Mobility Project in South-West Germany is an innovative initiative aimed at developing electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to transform urban transportation.
This German company focuses on creating safe, quiet, and eco-friendly air taxis for short urban trips, with the goal of revolutionizing how we navigate cities.
How does Air Mobility companies contribute to sustainable urban transportation?
The demand for innovative and sustainable mobility solutions by people and businesses will take center stage – fueling the growth of the Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) industry and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) as its subset – exactly where eVTOL companies come into play.
The eVTOL aircrafts are powered by electricity, producing zero emissions during flight. This technology helps reduce air pollution and noise in urban areas. By enabling vertical take-offs and landings, the project by Volocopter minimizes the space needed for infrastructure and supports the development of more sustainable urban transportation systems.
